I'm happy he's giving credence to the satellite data. Once people realize the surface data are corrupted before 1970 and turn to satellite data, it's a step in the right direction! Remember, it's satellites that have shown no warming for 18 years (however there aren't data pre-1970).

Also, media will warp El Nino as some binary event. It's not. We're in Modoki El Nino. Ocean's are anomalously warm right now, so the output from the satellites look right. El Nino and La Nina's are natural patterns, and you can see that temperature spikes/troughs associated with these natural patterns put any fabricated trend that people claim to be associated with CO2 to complete shame.
