One of the concerns I had with IBH was competition. If you do a youtube you'll see other products being demonstrated where they also have one shack with the product applied and another shack without it. The one without treatment burns and the one with does not.

I've come across anecdotal comments (admittedly when researching IBH) that competitive products (where the treatment is sprayed onto the wood) become less effective over time and / or can release bad gases. I'm not sure whether that release is when it just sits there or we're talking about during a fire. Other competitive products are gyproc based, so when I read references to structural strength of the IBH pyrotite OSB products it takes on more significance for me.

Maybe it'll find its way toward the old highs.
