GILD's expected average 46% discount for US HCV sales in 2015 is itself a 31%* discount to the average 22% discount GILD offered in 2014 US HCV sales of Sovaldi and Harvoni during a period when there was essentially no competition. That doesn't seem extreme, IMO.

*0.54 = (0.69)(0.78)

p.s. I am not short GILD.
