- i am guessing that by 'people in the industry' you mean orthodontists, dentists, industry associations, aligner manufacturers, industry key opinion leaders, dental school professors, dental hospital folks, and regulatory authorities, and such? and human clinical patients and pre-commerce evaluation doctors and patients? any other category of folks?

- it would most assuredly concern me and would make me shy away from any and all fraudulent acts. should you convincingly determine and definitely pronounce such to be the case, i would do so in an instant. are you ready to present the convincing case and pronouncing such fraud?

- i agree w/ this view re what the world is full of.
however, between you and i, unclear to me whom precisely you are referring to as a science denier? and what you are pointing out as snake oil? please be unequivocally clear so that we can continue our discussion w/ full avoidance of doubt.
