Steve, << TI in 30's >>

I agree TI will probably see 30's. I'll buy there also if I can
get some upside on other tech stocks I now want out of. Only so much
money to go around.
My personal view on pc stocks is that the home pc market is about
to transition to interactive tv/pc markets. I know MUEI is pushing
flat screens, but don't know the other leader positions. They're certainly
going to be players.
If you pull my thread comments on MUEI for today, you'll see some
inputs I don't want to iterate again. It's more likely someone on
this thread could fill in my blanks and possible mis-judgements about
digital tv's future. If comments about electroluminescence aren't
on todays MUEI inputs, you may need to look back to yesterday. The
old memory isn't what it used to be. (ggg)
Someday the box makers like Dell and the tv guys like Sony will
be head to head. One safe bet will be TI. I'm sure they won't mind
supplying either.
On networking, I see cable leading copper, with satelite much longer
term. 300+ stations won't come cheap. Knowing Engibeous from his
past, I must believe he'll cover all roads. What's press released now
doesn't mean squat. I've been part of closed door projects in the
distant past, and see some of it just now on the market, 15 years
later after prototype construction. Blows my mind. If the economics
could only keep up with the technology!!!!
