I understood what he was saying, and took it to mean that not everything we vaccinate for ought to be mandatory. And I don't disagree. But if you're going to make a comment like that you cannot afford to be misunderstood.

On my FACEBOOK I have a lifelong friend who was crippled by polio, as well as a number of people who have varying degrees of autism they have to deal with. I've watched the arguments from both sides and neither is as cut and dried as some think it is. It is a tough subject but I thought Carson handled it better than anyone.
