Hey look, some BUY recs on SEMI stocks! Who'd a thunk it. * SBC Warburg Dillon Read said analyst Greg Mischou initiated coverage of some companies in the semiconductor industry. He put buy ratings on NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR CORP, with a 12-month price target of $39, MICROCHIP TECHNOLOGY INC, with a 12-month price target of $48, XILINX INC, with a 12-month target of $48, and LEVEL ONE COMMUNICATIONS INC, with a 12-month price target of $46. (Reuters 10:13 AM ET 12/17/97) I do follow some of these stocks, MRVC in particular. Closed today at 21 n something. $46 would be quite nice, and doable. -Kevin
