Graf from one of the press releases today says: "MIDCOM's sales organization includes an account team for large businesses, a market segment WinStar was preparing to serve in 1998 by adding to its own sales force." Maybe I'm missing something. Is it good business to throw out a welcome mat for the go-getters of a business that went belly up? (If I'm reading this graf right.) I'm not as optimistic about all this as others (including my brother) have been today. Maybe the deals with the companies WCII is "rescuing" will pay dividends in '98. All I know is TGNT is climbing on no news. The reason? A proven guy at the top. A man with c-o-n-t-a-c-t-s. Smart money obviously knows more than I do.
