I bought and read it in Danish aro 45 years ago. Read all of the first part and gave up early in 2nd part, just too boring. While possibly being a best seller in the Muslim world, you bet it's in no way a best reader same place - even by those, who know how to read :)

Still beyond me, why it's - still - banned in Germany and why they fight so hard keeping it that way, now the exclusive rights still in the hands of Bavaria expire next year.

Maybe they should include som of those French cartoons to make it more attractive?
Like of AH and the Mufti in some 'interesting' situations...
