You sound like me on the TA for Beginners thread when I first started a year ago here at SI... (not a put-down, just an observation). The reply from one of the guys - I think it was either David or Chan... maybe Jer... was that the people as close to the market as we are will be the FIRST ones out, not the last ones... So I can highly recommend you try to get lots of information from some of the very excellent threads here on SI. And it you do NOTHING else, buy when the 200 day MA is moving up... sell when it is moving down... it is really difficult to go wrong that way. That means, even when Joe Battapaglia tonite hyped Boeing, the flat fact is it's 200 day MA is going down and you DON'T want to be long or in calls with the 200 day MA falling. Sure, when it turns around, but not now! Erstanzeeeeeee?????? Bill
