It isn't a ridiculous argument. It is a fact I've witnessed with my own eyes in more than 20 years of systems work and consulting with physician's offices, generally about accounts receivable. Seldom, almost never, we're patients turned away for an inability to pay. And even when they were, they could always find alternatives. If they tried. It could be a headache. But it could be handled.
