It's obvious you really don't get the implications behind the inefficiency of solar power. What's to get...it's not rocket science. The technology works, when the grid is user friendly. You should focus on deployment cost, which has been dropping like a stone, rather than efficiency, which has not improved a great deal. There's plenty of deployment real estate, for concentrated farms or in distributed form. There are now proposals to use parking lots and even road surfaces. We may not live to see it, but the pioneers of any technology have given the world incredible gifts through their vision and entrepreneurial spirit. Once again...the glass is half full. Al
