No point in risking anything by being different. After all how can they be faulted for spewing the same line that others are saying? When one bigger one turns, they will all begin to turn. I bet they even all dress the same! It seems to me with the contacts they have and access to information, that they have to know more than they are saying - or else are completely incompetent. If they know more, but say this (and particularly at this time) that really says something, doesn't it? And if they are just issuing the party line, that also says something. Which do you think it is?
