Jeff - Having been a lead analyst on several big software projects, they are not always late, late, late! I've had two now that have been on time and on budget. Two out of how many over the years? (I'm not picking on you, just trying to give the audience/lurkers some perspective.) we have 500 people in our IS department. That's a pretty large shop. Any idea how representative your on-time experience is relative to the rest of the shop? Any idea how you guys (would) rank on the SEI-CMM scale? Have you been having a concerted project management improvement effort over the past 5-10 years, or have you always been this good? - David
