I do hear that Nextel has a pretty substantial advertising budget
ready to go in 98 and the part I hear about is aimed at radio, nation-
wide. I can see your point about print ads in the biz mags(good for the execs of large constructions companies to see, for example) but,
IMHO, a radio campaign will get the word out to the largest amount of users in the cheapest way possible and create a buzz. Imagine all the hard-working blue-collar men of America hearing an ad per day;
eventually, Nextel becomes the standard. And then they'll want phones
to keep track of their kids(great application of the technology) and there'll be one in every minivan mom's hand too!!!!!!!!!!!!!
