Here's what they would do if they had explanations. They'd take each specific station mentioned by skeptics and list the adjustments one by one and tell why it was correct to make it.

They can't do that because they use an automated algorithm that ASSUMES something is wrong for unknown reasons and makes adjustments to past temperatures .... probably based on a model of what temperatures are SUPPOSED to have done per the warming theory. I think they're simply slowly piecemeal by piecemeal replacing historical data with a modeled fake non-data.
