What he does Grant is raise money and keep himself busy with a good income running an exploration company. That is what he is good at.
I also said he never guarantees a return to investors. But actually does quite well himself.
To be a explorer that has survived at the helm as long as Elmer. A person has to be a bit charismatic and the ability to persuade people to believe in him and front the money needed. Just because he has never uncovered a mega rich deposit does not make him a poor explorer. Only 5% ever do.

You yourself said he was believable when you talked at PDAC or which ever mining show it was. He is portrays confidence and speaks with certainty. At times using hypothetical terms.
Thereby what is actually said and what the recipient hears is not exactly the same thing.
Like you won't believe the numbers. He never said they were terrific , although that is what many heard or at least how it was interpreted.

That is why I also said beware of the BS. When something is implied I ask "Could you clarify that for me please is it or is it not" If they won't, don't eat it..
There is a grey area between truth and lies where many sales people dwell.

In simple terms he is very good at raising funds to spend on exploration. That's what explorers do.
