you can travel it virtually before you drive it.
I do that all the time. Went to visit a friend in Saratoga recently and glad I looked it up on Google Earth beforehand or I would never have found the place. A regular map wouldn't have helped. A regular map would have shown the street, but not the house. The reason is they put 7 addresses at the beginning of the street, which is really considered a driveway for the 7 homes going up the street. The homes sit so far back from the street that you can't pick them out from the address, especially at night. You have to know ahead of time, which is which and where it is.
