They are welfare queens who see it as taxpayer's responsibility to insulate them from failure. They need not compete because they gave a safety net. They are too big to fail.

So, when they have to compete against the greatest companies on the planet they are too bloated and lack the agility of an Apple or Google. Or Tesla.

Giving GM to the unions was a favor to no one.
