| | | UPDATED: Shots have been fired at meeting in Copenhagen attended by controversial Swedish artist Lars Vilks, according to Danish media reports. The artist himself was unhurt, but several police officers were injured, according to the reports.
All of these shooting reports now emanating from W European countries with extremely restrictive gun laws are an example of how effective restricting an individual's ability to defend him (or her) self really is.
When and if the citizens wake up and begin demonstrating for right to carry they will be on the right track. But I doubt we see it, because they are so conditioned to submit.
Amazing that they probably have never heard the shooting statistics in Chicago, Houston, NYC, etc..
BTW if you go to Copenhagen be sure to visit Tivoli Gardens, wonderful place on summer evenings and lots of places to hide if a shooting starts. Also go see the Copenhagen mermaid. A beautiful, small but famous landmark. I have a picture of her in one of my albums.
That brings me to another thought. I wonder how much European travel is now being dismissed by Americans due to these news reports.
The real problem is the oppressive gun laws that restrict self defense. That will become more and more obvious as those who wish to impose their belief system on others do just that, forcefully.
