'American Sniper' Does It Again...Breaks More Records

American Sniper” has now hauled in $300 million at the domestic box office – a feat only accomplished by 50 other films in history. After ending Friday with a domestic total of $291.5 million, American Sniper hit the $300 million mark by Sunday afternoon.

But “American Sniper” continued to break records this weekend besides breaking $300 million. It became the highest grossing war film of all time and the second highest grossing R-rated drama ever (The Passion of the Christ grossed $370,782,930).
