If the GX can run at 233 Mhz in the current process, what do you guess the speed will be using a true 0.35u process? Halla said that we should see these chips in about two months. It seems to me that we should expect 250 Mhz (or even 266). I have to assume that they are moving it to more levels of metal and 0.25u as we speak. If this beast comes out in Q2 of next year, what would the speed be? I gotta believe we're looking at over 300 Mhz. But, maybe the MX core will force the clock speed to drop. Hope not. Anyway, an MX based GX at 0.25u shold give Cyrix a couple quarters of breathing room to deliver the MXi in late 2H.
