Pravin,

I believe Steve Tobak once said that MediaGX will not move to .25u process. MediaGXm will probaly top at 250 MHz maybe 266. THat will be sufficient until summer '98 when hopefully MXi will takes over.

I am curious what the initial clock rate of MXi will be. If it is around 300 MHz, NSM can take a quarter of the market with this chip. If it is 233 MHz or below, our suffering will continue.

BTW, unless I am completely off base, aren't Koreans leading the SDRAM development, while Micron and Japanese are making mostly EDO? If that's the case, we may see a reduction of SDRAM prices as a result of the fall of Korean Won. If the premium for SDRAM dissapears, we may see a 250 MHz MediaGX based Presario with SDRAM running at 100 MHz soon. It should be a pretty good performer.
