Larry , very reasonable point, IMHO. Two problems: 1. hospitals' orientation was not mentioned in the report. 5,000 hospitals may include Veterans Hosp. and so on. ( I would really appreciate if someone can post an exact data.) 2. spectrofotometrs are still there and they may be used as an "emergency" variant.
