Yes, MSFT will continue to prosper as a company making OS, Office, and Flight Simulator. But what DOJ wants is to stop MSFT bundling Windoz with IE. MSFT will sell the same number of OS license with or without IE. But the fact BG simply doesn't want any software other than those made by MSFT to appear in PC is simply annoying. And it's this point we're debating about.

So why does MSFT still insists to integrate IE with Windoz? One word - Growth. They want to eat into other emerging markets that are hinged on the continued success of internet. And, BG believes that the success of internet won't last unless MSFT controls all the standard and eats most of the pie. I believe BG is definitely too confident in himself; and I also believe he's killing himself if he continues to butt heads with DOJ.
