We would never have gotten one for a trailer, but the cabin is another thing all together. We used to spend a lot of time there, so wanted to be comfy. Now that we're just up the street, it isn't as important. The mattress that came with the Hideout leaves much to be desired, so I guess the other alternative is to buy a new one to replace it, and leave the sleep number in the cabin?

Also regarding the generator. Someone at the dealership said if we wanted to run the airco when we're boondocking we'd need minimum 2500 watt gen., but one that big won't fit in the bay that locks on the Hideout. We pretty much decided this am that we don't need a gen to run the airco, but only to run lights, micro, blow up bed etc.

So looks like we could get a smaller gen which would fit in the locking bay.

Problem solved.
