It's an Expedition EL and the gas fumes would be unbearable.

We tow ours with a Suburban 2500 (3/4 ton). Whenever we need the generator, we put it in back and have never detected any odor. Ours is a Yamaha 2400, which provides juice clean enough for our phones and computers.

Now weight is another thing. The Yamaha weighs about 75 lbs. and the Honda is about 50.

I'm almost positive your A/C is a 13.5, and the smaller of the two (the Honda) is capable. However one doesn't run the A/C and the micro at the same time.

To remedy, many buy two Hondas (they can be rigged to run in parallel) and gives you more juice than you need for anything.

Of course, there are generators out there that are less expensive, but there noise output is significantly higher.
