How is the ISLAMIC state different than the JEWISH STATE. That's a valid question.. The way I would differentiate them is that the Jews wanted to rebuild their historical homeland/kingdom.. including Judea and Samaria.. They really don't make any claim (that I've yet seen) to the rest of the world. In fact, they don't even want to evangelize their faith and convert others to Judaism by teaching, or even the sword.. They believe they are "god's chosen people" by birth and ethnicity. Since Jews define themselves by ethnicity as much as religion, Israel is a "Jewish state" (where 20% of the population happens to be Arab).. Ethnically speaking, there are MANY ARAB states that currently exist, and Jews are not particularly welcome, nor can they own land. On the other hand, ISIS (and most other Jihadist militants) want to restore the Islamic Empire of over 1000 years ago.. and THEN conquer the rest of the non-Muslim world.. (Dar Al-Islam and Dar Al-Harb). en.wikipedia.org I don't see nearly the threat from Israeli "Zionist" aspirations as I do from Islamic ones held by ISIS, Hamas, and Al-Qaida.. They want the world..
