In discussions with others who have long trailers, all National Park Campgrounds DO have spaces for longer units, BUT…

They are few in number and go quickly. Thus the need for early reservations which tend to make one plan around this small portion of a long trip.

My experience at the South Rim of The Grand Canyon proved this to be true. There were some longer spaces, but they were few and on the periphery of the campground.
