Thanks for the definitive answers on the equatorial day. I won't ask about the resultant force responsible for the variations in earth's orbital speed even though I know we're all curious about it.

Well after this week most mutual funds should be done with their year end capital gains distributions. With that behind them there should be a significant increase in money flowing into them and hence the market. Since Wall Street is pretty much done with launching any new IPOs until late January that should give the market a push to the upside in the coming month or so. There was a fairly intelligent article about this in last week's Barron's.

Yesterday in the early morning RAIN droppped $2 on pretty low volume and spent the rest of the day recouping thoise losses. I guess we will see shortly if the MGM opening is going to make any noise.
