Very informative sites you posted.

I forwarded them and we'll both spend time on them over the weekend. I'm particularly impressed with the tri-fuel generator, and I am also going to listen to the recording on how to pick a generator. We are also going to buy a larger generator for the house. We want to be able to not only run lights and the refrigerator, but we want to be able to turn the furnace and hot water tank on occasionally to warm things up during an outage.

I don't know much about electricity, so this is an interesting challenge for me.

P.S. The wattage calculator is really neat............thanks for including it.
