Picked up my TurboTax today. Delux comes with free e-filing (well, rebate): anybody tried e-filing their taxes?

A quick survey of the strip mall revealed:
Price-Costco traditional TurboTax exclusive
Computer City (a Tandy store) with TurboTax on palets up front
Staples with TurboTax and TaxCut up front side by side (boo!). TaxCut selling for $15, TurboTax for $20 with $10 rebate coupon.

I must admit that I thought TurboTax would be out alone longer. TaxCut must have moved up their release date as well. Fierce compitition.

Question: Is it just me, or is it terribly penny-wise, pound-foolish to choose a tax prep package on a $5 price differential? I mean $5 compared to thousands of dollars in taxes. I suppose that's the same argument that passe' human accountants would use against tax prep software ("Do you want to save a buck up front, or many bucks by doing it right/finding deductions?"). This dispite the fact they all use tax software (probably by Intuit) to do their clients' taxes.
