So John, do you see AMD turning in a positive profit for Q1'98 ?? ... I
think that the $1.27 for '98 is too "rosy". AMD won't turn a positive
profit until 2nd half and they will be lucky to come close to $1.00 for '98.

The notebook market is "brand new" for AMD ... I don't expect them to
offer anything close to Intel's notebook CPU performance. AMD will
continue to be 2 speed bins behind in notebooks. AMD's .25um process
just is NOT as aggressive as Intel's in terms of performance.
