Thanks Gus, Das is a brilliant guy and Genesi has some stripes so it will be interesting.
I think the Seagte factory in Cebu PI is going to be run out of Malaysia where most of the heads are manufactured already (in Penang and Ipoh). The ops in Thailand are head stack assys and disk drives as far as I know. Not that it is a big point. I have heard that Seagate had some plans to do a head plant in Medan Indonesia as well but that got iced.

I saw the Haggerty interview but what I want to know about is INVENTORY! Thats the biggie in my opinion. Not whose hand he has to hold.

I agree with you about the component guys getting heat in these situations. Look at APM amd Komag. I am still scratching my head on Stormedia and Akashic. I just dont figure it. Whose process is going to win? Does Stormedia need Akashic's substrates? For what customer. They've lost theirs (Microplis, W-D dwindling, Samsung on the ropes) What gives? I really dont get it.

The APM doubling of shares snapped me awake. I wasnt aware of it. Many thanks. Its really intrigueing.

I got Geenen's forecast. But you are right...he has a whole lot of ifs.
Best,
By the way...any reason to even mention MIG anymore???
