It's so confusing. I head incessantly that the "pause" doesn't exist. Then I hear hind-sight explanations for the "pause". So much for consensus.

$70 billion in government funded global warming research since 2008, and the New York Times smears a scientist receiving 1.2 million in 10 years. That's 1.2 million well spent for this kind of reaction. It gets juicier. Someone hacked a "skeptics" e-mail account the day before the article was released and sent the e-mail below to ~60 other "skeptics", which alludes to saying, "You're next!"
