I jumped in on Options based on the news release yesterday! The article from "Odyssey" stating that ISP's had a larger share of customers then the on-line co's seemed to really spread accross the wires. Showed up just about everywere. I think that could trigger the articles we are looking for... Today's fed #'s are likley to cause a ralley, but I am betting that AOL should turn down regardless! A while back - 5 mo's ago, I spoke with someone who was quite familar with AOL and visited with the top managemenet. They indicated deep concern, over 50% of AOL packet traffic was direct out to the web- not cruising content on aol.. That's something when you think about what's really happening! IE.. Your e-mail is stored locally, most of the news you read is stored on AOL (most of which is obtainable elsewhere).. These #'s will make it to the public! I think we should thank AOL for all of the great interent training disks they sent the great people of USA & Canada. The brought a wonderful awareness- all be it at a expense that's yet to be paid! I agree with Roy about investment houses bumbping up the ratings so they can dump! I think it was CNBC that did a nice piece on that recently! - Infact wasn't in cabbot that was plugging a stock while selling privately! - BTW: I bought 2,500 each as follows: Oct @ 1.00 Nov @ 1 7/8 Jan @ 2 3/4 Just need 1 to come in @ 22 to get a good return!
