The direct quotes from O'Reilly are what he is relying on to exonerate him. Did he ever say he went to the Falklands?

I know he said he had been in multiple war zones, and of course that is true. He stated CBS "sent me to El Salvador and to cover the Falkland Islands war in Argentina."

What is being questioned is the use of the term war zone in referencing the fighting in Argentina itself. I guess if the Argentinian military was firing guns all over the place, as a reaction to what happened in the Falklands, we all might call Buenos Aires a war zone.

Regardless, it's still a smear since O'Reilly's detractors, especially Corn and Engberg, fabricated evidence against him.
