if you act like the average penny stock investor then i agree that most likely you will be wasting your money (almost by definition of being average). but it is not clear to me whether or not you can change your odds by acting differently. for example the amount of research you do, the degree of information you require before you invest, your investment horizon, past experience etc. not really arguing by the way, just trying to think differently and see where that leads me, thanks for sharing thoughts.
