Jeff......I tend not to move away from anything, which is why my life is so crowded and hectic. CCI as a predictor when taken along with MACD's, etc (ie... Bill Sandusky's great system....see Andy's page if you don't have it) is good, and it may be important to look at at the same time as "Narrowing", but it seems to me that the crossover of Zero by the Williams A/D indicator that I showed at the same time (or usually shortly after) that PDI(8) is crossing up through MDI(8) is a slightly better indicator for a good strong run. PDI(8) (MetaStock coding) is the 8 period positive Directional Movement element of ADX and MDI(8) is the negative one. In some software, it shows up as DM+ and DM-. BW Chan
