Greg , no I did not do the calculations , since unlike some of these pretenders on this thread (Yousef , Rod are examples) I realise that I do not have enough information or knowledge of costs involved .
That figure of $25 per die was an analyst projection (either Salomon or DLJ I believe) and was on .25 using 8" (200mm) wafers .
A simple calculation shows that it makes sense 140/380 x $70 = $25.75
