SNL rips into Ben Carson for his remarks about homosexuality — and it’s beautiful

In a hilarious “Weekend Update” segment, anchors Michael Che and Colin Jost ripped into neurosurgeon, potential GOP presidential candidate, and “complete idiot” Ben Carson for his recent remarks about homosexuality being a choice.
“Dr. Ben Carson, a neurosurgeon,” Che began, “said that homosexuality is a choice because many people go to prison straight, but when they come out, they’re gay. Kind of like how in that last sentence, Carson went in as a neurosurgeon and came out as a complete idiot.”
Jost followed by saying, “Dr. Carson, a neurosurgeon, said last week that homosexuality was a choice. Dr. Carson made the comments to himself — over and over — in the men’s locker room.”
They continued in this vein for a few more stories, until Jost apologized for “piling on” — then said, “This just in! Dr. Ben Carson, a candidate for president, is no longer a candidate for president.”
