On briefing.com: "Broderbund Software Inc. (BROD) 29 1/2 -4 1/4: --UPDATE-- UBS Securities downgrades developer of entertainment software concern to a "hold" from a "buy" as stock is near the firm's $35 price target" Also, on wires: "Volpe: Broderbund's shipment goals for Riven may be 'overly ambitious'. 60% of Broderbund's Riven shipments still in channel." What do you all think of this? It isn't surprising to me that there is a large inventory in the channel, since the product is so new and demand has been furious. Opinions?
