Obama hasn't exactly been forceful with Putin so I don't see how you can say that Putin won't keep being aggressive while Obama is in office.

He has been far more forceful than Bush was with Putin. Bush had a bromance with Putin while like with netanjerkoff, Obama and Putin have not gotten along since day one. That's why Rs like Putin so much.......he's one of them.

Obama won't even give any arms to Ukraine so I doubt that Putin is terrified that the U.S. will rush in to save Latvia or any other country whether they are "members of NATO" or not.

He is using the giving of weapons to the Ukraine as a carrot as it should be. The Ukraine needs to get its house in order. Its been screwing around for two decades plagued by corruption and mismgmt much like Russia.

Obama said the guy in Syria was finished but he's still there and reconsolidating his power as I type.

Don't kid yourself, Bashar al-Assad is living on borrowed time......on fumes. ISIS has prolonged the inevitable.
