| | | <<New study finds grandparents are obsolete, being replaced in large part by Google>>
... not altogether true yet
whereas the coconut (10.5) is equipped w/ Mac, iPad, iPod, (no phone) and Kindle, and is conversant in use of google, amazon, and VoIP, she still seeks out grandparents to ask homework questions by phone and in person. of course it is an advantage that the gramps all live in the neighbourhood, and that the coconut appreciates their audience as well as guidance and encouragement, none of which the IT gadgets and apps can do.
it is also an advantage that the coconut sees that everyone around her including grandparents works on their own gig, whether in cooperation w/ partners or w/ clients, music students, etc etc , and she sees that no one stopped learning new skills
in the mean time, the latest by coconut ...
grapes

... and earth, wind, water, and willow
