The "better" spec stocks have been basing for about two weeks. It looks like all the institutions who wanted to unload have done so. Bottom fishing accounts for the strength, at least for the bids. There's about 250 or so junior resource companies that have cash, management and some interesting prospects. This wasn't true in the spring of 1988 so we could get a better market faster than most think, at least in a handful of stocks. Still looking to the Alberta diamond play to heat up. Lot's of companies permitting drill sites. Something good has to happen I think on one of the properties peripheral to Ashton. Meteor? Primero? Lucero? New Claymore? Montello? Troymin?
