The doctor I am now working with is 86 and does a good job. He plans to retire in 4 years. He does it to keep his mind sharp. I think there is even a greater benefit, that of feedback. We all need constant feedback to keep us in line as social beings. When working, even as a physician you must humble yourself on a regular basis. I think many on this board need to get out and work for others. Rich and or retired does not make for good minds unless you search for humility and true feedback. I have learned from my colleague and plan to work 20 hours a week for 6-8 months a year when I retire. As an aside check out this that Cullen at Pragmatic Capitalism shared
