For many years, 28% of the money paid to fund my position was withheld for Social Security and pension payments. I had no say in this. I even had to pay federal and state income taxes on much of this. I could have invested that, as I did my other savings, and would have a net worth of an extra million dollars if I had been allowed to do this

Everyone in the U.S. pays the same taxes, except for the very wealthy of course, due to republicons tax policies they get a big break. So move to Saudi Arabia or Somalia if you hate paying taxes and hate the U.S. so much
