I retired with 49 patents.......PC's were relatively new at the time(although they existed), most of us had terminals at work.... I didn't work on computers, only computer chip R&D... IBM's main hardware business was and still is "Big Iron"......not PC's they never made any money on PC's and sold off the business to Lenovo.
