Hi dvdw,

New definition of neucleated oil:

Stored tight oil awaiting a sufficient market price that justifies the expense of connecting the inventory to a global delivery system.

We have indeed become the swing reserves that cap the capability of M.E. countries to inflate the global price of oil.

That was seen by you a decade before it happened.

You made me aware of it and I felt it would reduce the price of crude - just didn't have the nerve to short crude or determine its timing.

What is even more "out of the box" is that the US could become the swing producer that controls the global price - especially if we would allow greater levels of exporting - in a value added or refined product - which could be based on brent prices (which have a substantial differential).

This has given the USA a manufacturing and energy cost advantage over the rest of the world.

A paradigm shift has occurred and it yields advantage USA.

Now if they learn to behave, not war or oppress people, they could have a larger market share as determined by well you know who.

OK now I'm dreaming but it is a noble goal.

Nice forward vision there dvdw !

Bob
