The last time for my ice fishing took place on Thursday, when I spent about 90 min on a local lake and caught these 20 or so bluegill. Good eating fish. The ice shores of Lake Monona are now melted and it is time to hang up the ice chisel, the jigging poles and my trusty favorite gold tungsten jig. What a great month it has been fishing, if you know how to jig the pole just right. Now, time for a vacation in Lake Louise, but no ice fishing, just some skiing, hiking and a Calgary Flames hockey game against the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday.
